Julie-Ann Gambino's work, For The Time Being, examines how shifting atmospheres can alter states of mind. Whether in the “comfort” of your own home or feeling alone in a crowd, can relaxing through the tension invite new discoveries? When interactions are arduous, is it better to admit discomfort or wear a mask? This is a story of social distress, and the dangers of retreating into comfort. With dancers Chelsea Reichert, mia simonovic, Maddie Matuska, Liza Kroeschell and Yoshie Fujimoto Kateada.
