mia is a nomadic movement artist and teacher. Her choreography explores the vessels that contain life and their abilities to share knowledge through movement, feedback, and sensation. She has exhibited dance and performance art in Southern California, the Bay Area, and New York. As a performer she has worked with artists Kevin Williamson, Kristin Damrow, Jacqueline Gordon, Claudia Anata-Hubiak, Kate Mitchell, Julie-Ann Gambino, Ros Warby, and Natsuo Tomita.

mia received her BA from UCLA's World Arts and Cultures/Dance program in 2014. She is currently teaching Beginning Contemporary at City Dance San Francisco. She is also creating new solo work under SAFEhouse Arts' Resident Artist Workshop, as well as choreographing for youth dance companies in the Bay Area.
